I am a big fan of animator Adam Philips work. Aspecially the animation shorts he has done for his Brackenwood series. When watching 'Little Foot' I fell in love with the small orange monster straight away.
Heres a link to the animation I am talking about.

Though the designing of the Little Foot is very simple. This took me hours to sew together! You wouldnt think so, but it took me 3 days to finally finish off, spending about 5 hours a day.
The Eyes were the trickiest part in making him. As they were so small and I was sewing a silk material for the lighter red shade in his eyes. That unraveled very easily so i had to sew over it alot with the sewing machine. The white highlights are little pieces of white cotton. I had to sew these onto the red eyes and then onto a piece of rough paper so that I could handle each piece, without me getting my fingers caught in the machine.
Any comments or feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you!
You can always tell when something is created from the heart. That is stunning! Amazing work and I'm extremely flattered :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting it on the Brackenwood forum, I got a few PMs from people telling me to check it out.
